The Office of Online Learning and Educational Innovation (OLEI) has announced the results of the Ignition Grants for Sustainable Educational Transformation (IGSET). This round of funding supports the creation of high-quality asynchronous courses designed for online delivery, expanding offerings available to transfer partner institutions through a curated selection.

We are proud to share that three of our Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty members have been selected for this initiative:

  • ELEC ENG 2100: Circuits I – Dr. Theresa Swift, Teaching Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • COMP ENG 2211: Computer Engineering Lab – Dr. Robert Woodley, Associate Teaching Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Dr. Joe Stanley, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

These faculty subject-matter experts are collaborating with OLEI instructional designers to develop engaging, innovative digital learning experiences. The new courses will launch in fall 2025 and spring 2026, contributing to Missouri S&T’s mission of advancing access to high-quality education.
