Beckerdite’s research, conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sahra Sedigh Sarvestani and Dr. Ali Hurson, focused on the development of a pervasive cyberinfrastructure for personalized eLearning and instructional support.

In addition to his academic achievements, Beckerdite is an NSF S-STEM Scholar and has gained industry experience as a software engineer intern at Garmin.

To qualify for the Dean’s Undergraduate Research Scholars program, students must be enrolled full time and maintain a minimum 3.4 grade point average. The program aims to foster undergraduate research by providing financial support and mentorship opportunities.
