Sanfan Liu, a computer engineering Ph.D. student co-advised by Dr. Ali Hurson and Dr. Sahra Sedigh Sarvestani, has been awarded a National Science Foundation travel grant to attend IEEE SMARTCOMP 2025 in Cork, Ireland. The international conference focuses on innovations in smart computing and provides a unique opportunity to engage with leading researchers from around the world.

In addition, six NSF S-STEM Scholars have been selected and fully funded by the National Science Foundation and the American Association for the Advancement of Science to participate in the 2025 S-STEM Scholars Meeting in San Diego, California:
